For me, as the head trainer and owner, it is simply common sense: before we start working with a client, we test first. After all, how can you create an effective and responsible training program if you do not know where someone currently stands?
However, I have noticed that this is not immediately obvious to everyone. Why would you undergo extensive testing before you even begin training? The answer is actually quite simple: what gets measured gets managed.
That is why we always conduct a comprehensive baseline assessment. This allows us to determine your starting point, gather valuable data, and create a solid foundation for objectively measuring future progress.

We begin with several important measurements taken at rest. First, we measure your blood pressure. We then assess your oxygen saturation levels and obtain a second indication of your resting heart rate.
Next, we measure your blood glucose levels. This enables us to determine whether you have sufficient energy reserves available for the exercise test that follows.
We then perform a bioelectrical impedance analysis using our Tanita body composition scale. This provides insight into your body weight and overall body composition. These measurements are essential for anyone whose goal is to lose weight, build muscle mass, or simply improve their overall health.
In addition, we take circumference measurements and perform a skinfold assessment. This serves as a second method of measuring body fat, as Tanita readings can be influenced by hydration levels. By combining multiple assessment methods, we obtain a more accurate and comprehensive picture of your body composition.
Once all of these measurements have been completed, we discuss the results with you in detail. We explain exactly where you currently stand and whether the findings align with your own expectations and perceptions.
Following the passive measurements, we conduct a fitness assessment. This may be either a Conconi Test, a submaximal treadmill test, or an Ästrand Test, a submaximal cycling ergometer test.
Using Polar heart rate monitoring, we gain a precise understanding of your cardiovascular fitness and exercise capacity. Based on evidence-based principles, we can accurately determine the heart rate zones in which you should train most effectively. Whether your goal is fat loss, improving endurance, or increasing your lactate threshold, we can tailor your training specifically to your individual needs.
Finally, we perform what we call a Strong & Weak Points Assessment. During this evaluation, we assess the musculoskeletal system, including muscles, joints, and skeletal structures.
We test general strength and, where necessary, conduct more specific assessments. Every observation is carefully documented. This allows us to identify your strengths, recognise any limitations, and determine which areas require additional attention.

Based on all the information gathered, we develop a periodised training plan: a fully personalised program designed specifically for you. This is not a generic training schedule taken from a template. It is tailored entirely to your goals, capabilities, medical history, and realistic expectations.
The sessions that follow consist of regular personal training appointments. After approximately three to four months, we repeat the exact same baseline assessment. This enables us to demonstrate your progress in black and white and objectively show the improvements you have achieved. We then evaluate the results together and determine the next steps as you move into the second phase of your journey.
By now, you have probably realised how seriously we take our profession. Perhaps you have worked with a coach or trainer before, but chances are you have never experienced an approach quite like this.
For us, training is not about guesswork or assumptions. We want to understand exactly what your body needs so that you can achieve your goals safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Have we sparked your curiosity? Would you like to discover what a comprehensive baseline assessment can reveal about your body? Are you ready to gain genuine insight into where you stand today and what it will take to achieve your goals?

We would be delighted to explain our approach and show you how data-driven personal training can transform the way you train. The first step towards becoming stronger, fitter, and healthier starts with understanding where you are today.
Stronger in life!
