My name is Joël van Wijk, founder and owner of Personal Performance Training in The Hague. Since 2010, I have been guiding clients at the highest level in achieving their physical and mental goals. With years of experience, discipline, and a strong focus on quality, personal attention is central to my approach.

My background consists of various recognized training courses and specializations, including Fitness Trainer A & B, Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Health, Orthomolecular studies, Kickboxing Trainer (SKMO level 4), Functional Training, Conditioning Training, Rehabilitation Trainer, and Sports Fasting. This broad and in-depth knowledge enables me to deliver top-level customized solutions.

At Personal Performance Training, I work exclusively with a personal and results-oriented approach. No standard schedules, but fully tailored to your body, lifestyle, and goals through extensive testing. Through this method, we create sustainable results together, both physically and mentally.

Jeffrey Boers is a sports enthusiast and a bootcamp and kickboxing trainer. Thai/kickboxing has been his passion for over 15 years. Jeffrey's training sessions are tough and challenging, consisting of a combination of strength and conditioning training and all the technical aspects of Thai/kickboxing. Yannick Slothouber is 33 years old, born and raised in The Hague. After completing his Start to Move Fitvak A and B personal trainer studies, Yannick has been working as a personal trainer for over nine years, both in group settings and one-on-one. He enjoys making people aware of the importance of exercise. Not just exercising for the sake of exercising, but to show someone that you can achieve great goals, both mentally and physically.

Nice to meet you, my name is Remy Tonino. I am 42 years old and have been a dedicated strength athlete for 22 years. For me, strength training is not just a sport, but a lifestyle that permeates all aspects of daily life.

Like many others, I once started without a clear plan: unstructured training, nutrition without direction, and little visible result. That phase motivated me to seriously delve into the field and pursue a career as a personal trainer in the fitness industry. With that knowledge and practical experience, I now help others to train purposefully and effectively.

+How am I assigned to a personal trainer?

During the intake interview and the discussion of your goals, we determine which trainer suits you best, ensuring you receive optimal guidance.

+How are my goals assessed and my progress tracked?

This begins with a very comprehensive baseline assessment, during which everything is analyzed and measured. After approximately 2.5 to 3 months of training, the exact same test is administered again. This provides objective insight into the results. Subsequently, the next phase of the program starts with an adjusted schedule.

+Do the training sessions take place weekly at a fixed time?

Yes, preferably. By working with fixed days and times, we create structure and continuity, which contributes to achieving optimal results.

+How much does personal training cost with you?
